How do I remove licences from my subscription?

Short answer

This section explains how to manage the removal of licences from your subscription.

Important: this action reduces the total number of licences in your subscription, which can affect your billing and future subscription management. If you remove a licence from your subscription, it will be permanently removed at the end of the current subscription period (quarterly or annual depending on your plan).

Remove licences from your subscription

Important note: if you want to fully unsubscribe from Constellia, select the total number of licences in your current subscription and finalize the removal process.

To reduce the total number of licences in your subscription:

  • Go to the "Subscription" section in the application's dashboard.
  • Click "Edit" at the top right of the subscription information card, then select the "Remove licences" option.
  • A selection interface will appear, allowing you to choose the number of licences to remove. The "Next" button will remain disabled until you select at least one licence to remove.
  • If you choose to remove licences already assigned to users, a dropdown table listing all users with assigned licences will appear.
  • Select the users who will lose their licence at the end of the current billing period. Even though the licences are removed, they remain usable until the end of your current subscription.
  • You can adjust the number of licences to remove and check the impact on your subscription in real time using the panel at the bottom right of the removal process.
  • After selecting the number of licences to remove, click "Next" to access the validation page. You can review the licences and affected users there.

Finalize the removal

Important note: you can cancel licence removal at any time before the end of your current subscription period. To do so, go to the "Subscription" section and click the cancel button.

  • If you're ready to confirm, click "Confirm" to finalize the action. If you want to cancel, click "Cancel" to return to the previous page.
  • In the "Subscription" section, you'll see details of your current subscription and information about your future subscription (number of licences, removal date, etc.).
